Student Review Of The Runnur

The reflective zipper pouch just below the sunglasses case is the largest pocket on the Runnur. I kept a pair of the Bright Futura sunglasses (Shameless self promotion).

I would recommend not stuffing the back pockets with to many items unless you are going to be on your feet all day. When sitting down I noticed that items in the back pockets can make siting a bit uncomfortable. However, you can always take it off while your seated umm duh!

If you are going to be on your feet all day hiking or riding your bike, then by all means cram as much in the back pockets as you want.

The water bottle pouch on the lower back of the Runnur worked out great in my testing. It has elastic around the middle and a second strap of elastic at the top that holds your bottle in by the neck. I was able to reach behind with my left hand to pull out and to put back in a water bottle with little to no difficulty.

I personal like to keep my iphone in the zipper wallet pocket since the lower Velcro flap pockets wound not protect an iPhone from any of the elements you’ll face on the wild adventures I’m sure you embark on regularly.

Take notes: For all you outdoorsy folks, I’ve read that if you’re going to keep electronics in your Runnur while hiking, you should invest in some waterproof spray. This is because of the thin light weight nature of the Runnur your gadgets would be at risk in the rain.

The Runnur is a tad bit of a fashion statement so be ready for some odd looks. I personally like the design, as did others; but I’d be lying if I didn’t say one of my friends called me a dork.

Nevertheless be a trendsetter and screw what others think (To hell with you Jason!).

Pros:

  • Holds many your gadgets
  • Built-in zipper wallet section
  • Comfortable
  • Reflector on back for safety
  • Holds standard 16oz. water bottle

Cons:

  • Grommet hole at bottom can’t take much weight
  • Not water-resistant
  • Pocket for sunglasses best used to keep anything but sunglasses

Overall Grade: A-

I was extremely satisfied with the overall performance of the Runnur even when completely packed full of as much stuff as possible. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be able to bring a small collection of gadgets, snacks, & water wherever they venture.
